The three men were masked with bandanas. One of them had a Winchester at the ready, the other two were waving their revolvers around. The men had chosen a favorable time for their plan: Early in the morning, shortly after the bank opened. It was then safe to assume that there would only be a few customers waiting at the counter. Now two women and a man were standing there - quite frightened - and he wasn't even armed. A bag was held out to the somewhat older cashier. "Pack up all the cash!" came the short, brusque order. "Hurry up!" The cashier was so nervous that he dropped his bag on the floor. One of the bank robbers cocked the hammer of his revolver and the sound made the cashier more cautious. He carefully put the bills in his pocket. "Faster!"
